ATLANTA (WAOK) – Today is the day people can get away from their digital gizmos. It’s the fourth annual National Day of Unplugging. It’s aimed at those who Instagram their hardboiled eggs as well as those who just want time to connect with friends the old-fashioned, in-person way. Gemini Adams, author of the upcoming “The Facebook Diet,” says technological devices are using people more than the other way around. He suggests using this National Day of Unplugging to spend time with friends and enjoy some live conversation.
