Terrell Suggs joined Game Time today to discuss the Ravens’ run to the Super Bowl and more. He said they did feel like they were a team of destiny and that everyone wanted to win for Ray Lewis. He also said he “hasn’t really thought about” stepping up to be the new defensive leader of the team but will do what he has to do.
“Stew-beef (talking about Kordell) is right (when asked if his feet has touched the ground yet),” said Suggs. “I’ll be hitting Las Vegas soon, so look out!”
When asked about the Ravens run to the Super Bowl: “The run started in 2008 when Coach (John Harbaugh) showed up. We had a lot of adversity, but we had a firm foundation to get over the hump.”
About the air in Baltimore: “The city’s on fire right now and when we’re playing well, we can affect the crime (statistics) in the city.”
Suggs also talked about his new film, The Coalition, out now on DVD/BluRay/iTunes. Suggs produced and co-wrote “The Coalition,” a drama about a group of wronged women who join forces to exact revenge on a professional athlete and his friends for playing them. This tale of revenge shows that, as the brilliant official synopsis describes it, an “A-list whirlwind of VIP nightclubs, charity galas, upscale spas and lavish gifts can also lead to a world of deception, cheating and heartache.”
