In the continuing saga of Dekalb School Board, there is now a lawsuit that has been filed seeking to halt a hearing with the Georgia Board of Education.

The hearing could determine whether Gov. Nathan Deal makes sweeping changes in the school system’s leadership.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in December put the suburban Atlanta system on probation and threatened to revoke its accreditation.
