ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) – The average price for a gallon of gasoline across the U.S. is up to $3.67 a gallon.

That’s an increase of 12 cents in the past week and 42 cents in the past month.

Oil analyst Patrick DeHaan, with GasBuddy.com, says the reason, as usual, is the rising price of oil.

Locally, gas prices have seen a 20 cent spike in the past week. A gallon averages three-67.

The Sam’s Club in Marietta had it for three-44 over the weekend. But there were nine stations around the metro area that had it for just shy of four-dollars a gallon.
