ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) – The Georgia nonprofit dedicated to saving the state’s historic buildings is once again offering its “castle” in Atlanta for wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day.

The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation says it’s taking appointments between noon and 7 p.m. Thursday for small wedding ceremonies at Rhodes Hall, the organization’s headquarters on Peachtree Street Northwest. The 109-year-old building is sometimes referred to as the “Castle on Peachtree.”

Getting hitched at Rhodes Hall costs $500. The price includes a wedding officiant, professional photography, music, a champagne toast and wedding cupcakes. But brides and grooms must bring a valid marriage license with them.

Proceeds from the weddings will go to the Georgia Trust.
