Carl Dukes of Game Time sat down with Seattle rookie phenom QB Russell Wilson at Super Bowl week in New Orleans. They talked about Wilson’s outstanding rookie year, and the disappointment of losing to the Falcons in the Divisional round. “It was an awesome experience for me, and to lead my team to the playoffs was tremendous,” he said. “As you know, we lost to Atlanta (laughing), but I love the way the season went.”

On his work ethic: “I’ve always been considered an underdog and I trust my preparation and my thought process, and I try to stay ahead of the game. I believe I have the respect of my teammates and I work hard each and every day to get better.”

On Kordell Stewart: “As you know, “Slash” (talking about Kordell) was a bad, bad man. I try to make smart decisions when I play.”

His pick for Sundays game? “If I had to pick someone in Sunday’s game, it’s hard to go against the 49ers.”
