ATLANTA (WAOK) – The IRS officially opens the 2013 filing season today. That means most individual 2012 tax returns can be accepted or filed online for processing. Due to changes in tax laws, others will have to wait to file until late February or March, based on the need for more extensive form and processing systems changes. The IRS says taxpayers will receive refunds much faster by using e-file with direct deposit.
