Well we’re finally here! It’s time to start thinking about Super Bowl 47 coming up on Sunday. However, we also take a look at one injury that is a little closer to home.
Matt Ryan sprained his left shoulder in the NFC Championship against the 49ers. He did miss the Pro Bowl because of it, yet won’t need surgery. He is still up in Flowery Branch rehabbing the shoulder. He’ll no doubt be ready for the start of offseason workouts in late April.
49ers Outside Linebacker Aldon Smith continues to go through limited practice with the shoulder injury. He shouldn’t be effected for Sunday in the Superdome.
Thursday Update: Both Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks went through another day of limited practice with shoulder issues.
Ravens Linebacker Terrell Suggs has gone through full practice this week with the biceps and Achilles injury. Inside Linebacker Darnell Ellerbe missed practice all last week with a thigh injury.
All Ravens players went through full practice on Thursday
We’ll take more of a look tomorrow at the injury situation heading into Sunday. Also, have to remind you to keep it tuned to SportsRadio 92-9 The Game for more coverage from CBS Radio Row at 10 AM with Jamie Dukes broadcasting live from New Orleans.
