ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) – Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is scheduled to speak at Georgia State University.

In a release Tuesday, Georgia State spokeswoman Leah Seupersad said Wozniak is set to speak with GSU president Mark Becker Wednesday on topics ranging from entrepreneurship to the future of technology’s role in higher education.

President Ronald Reagan awarded Wozniak and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs the National Medal of Technology in 1985, which is the highest honor given to the country’s technological innovators.

Seupersad says the event is free and open to the public. The discussion begins at 3 p.m. and is being hosted in the Georgia State Student Center Ballroom. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early.
