Brookwood’s Ky Priester has changed his commitment yet again, de-committing from N.C. State to pledge to Clemson. Priester, who moved to Brookwood from Orlando this summer, originally committed to UGA before backing off the commitment this past August. He pledged to N.C. State in October only to pull another switch over the weekend. According to the Gwinnett Daily Post, Priester snagged 56 receptions for 1,116 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Archer’s Deondre Singleton announced that he would attend Duke. The Tiger defensive back picked the Blue Devils over offers from Penn State and Vanderbilt payday loan lenders. Archer’s defense also features Tre Cheek, who is headed to California and Antonio Riles, who pledged to Florida but is now exploring other options following a coaching change in Gainesville. He visited Florida over the weekend after visiting Michigan State last week. He also holds offers from Alabama, North Carolina and Texas A&M, among other schools.
Georgia State picked up another in-state pledge over the weekend when Lassiter’s Robert Dowling announced he would sign with the Panthers. The 5-foot-11 defensive back was a leader for Jep Irwin’s Trojans this season.
Finally, Norcross running back Alvin Kamara visited Alabama over the weekend and will head to UGA this weekend. The Crimson Tide have three running backs currently in their 2013 signing class including Walton’s Tyren Jones while Georgia has just one and none from the state of Georgia.
