ATLANTA – (WAOK/AJC) – Atlanta police are trying to find the thieves that broke into a building where a movie set is being used in northwest Atlanta, stealing three-hundred thousand dollars worth of copper wiring and four computers. It happened in a warehouse on DeFoors Hills Road where Anchorman ‘2’ is being filmed. Investigators say several burglaries occurred Monday in the same general neighborhood, one at an apartment, and the other at another warehouse building. A five-thousand dollar reward is being offered for information about the heist. The building is being rented by Paramount Worldwide Productions, and Atlanta police say a burglary alarm that did sound after the break-in was cancelled by a company official, who said they’d had other false alarms, that were set off by rodents in the building.
