ATLANTA (WAOK) – The Better Business Bureau says if you plan on returning a holiday gift, it’s best to do it as soon as possible. If the item is faulty or not properly described, a shopper is entitled to a full refund by law. But the BBB also says stores are not obliged to take an item back simply because it was bought by mistake or because the shopper changed their mind. Most stores will give a refund or an exchange anyway because it makes good business sense to keep the customer happy.
