STOCKBRIDGE – (WAOK/AJC) – Investigators say a Clayton county police officer shot twice in the head in a shootout at a Stockbridge Motel Monday afternoon has died.
The shooting happened at Motel 6 on Davidson Parkway, when police say the officer was hit with gunfire, while investigating a domestic disturbance.
Police also killed the male suspect who has not been identified. Another person, a woman was taken into custody.
