APS Superintendent Gets Contract Extension

ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) – A divided Atlanta school board has decided to extend the contract of Superintendent Erroll Davis.

Officials say the deal gives Davis an 18-month contract extension beginning next July. Board members made the decision at a meeting on Monday evening.

Although board members approved the 18-month contract extension, they added clauses that allow the board to fire Davis during that time if they give him 90 days’ notice.
