TAMPA, Fla. (WAOK) — Once again this holiday AAA and Bud Light are coming to the rescue of motorists with the Tow to Go program. Triple A has provided Tow to Go service for more than fourteen years to keep intoxicated drivers from getting behind the wheel and risking the lives and safety of other motorists.

“The busiest time for the Tow to Go program is during the upcoming holiday season when more than 70 percent of the call volume is received,” said Gerry Gutowski, Sr. Vice President, Automotive Services, The Auto Club Group. “This program is invaluable because it brings attention to the dangers of drinking and driving beyond just giving an intoxicated driver a safe ride home.”

Tow to Go Services include:

  • Confidential local ride within a 10-mile radius to a safe location
  • Free and available to both AAA members and non-members
  • The AAA tow truck transports both the vehicle and the driver

If you need help in Georgia, Tennessee or Florida call the following numbers

Tow to Go Service Area(s) Phone Number

“The Tow to Go program is a simple and effective way to help prevent drunk driving,” said Kathy Casso, vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility for Anheuser-Busch.  “We are proud to join forces with AAA and their team of roadside assistance service vehicle drivers on this great program that helps keep our roads safe.”

Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 20,000 intoxicated drivers from the roads.
