ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) - Police in Dekalb County are investigating a series of attempted sexual assaults and warning women not to walk alone.
Authorities say four such crimes occurred in a three-week period in the same area last month.
Police say the suspect approached the women from behind as they walked along Hambrick Road and tried to strike up a conversation.
DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parrish said that when the women tried to walk away, the suspect would inappropriately touch them and attempt to remove articles of their clothing.
She said all of the women were able to get away without injury.
