Police say that the woman who claimed that she was attacked by three KKK members in a park has lied. 20-year-old Sharmeka Moffitt called police on Sunday and said she was set on fire by three men in white hoodies. Officials say that they have found evidence that the young woman may have fabricated her story. Investigators found a lighter and lighter fluid that was covered with Moffitt’s finger prints. They are now saying that Moffit may have written “KKK” and a racial slur on the hood of her own car, then set herself on fire.
