LAWRENCEVILLE –  A Lawrenceville man will spend the rest of his life in prison,  avoiding execution,   after he pleads guilty to four murders,   during his trial.    47 year old Richard Ringold was facing the death penalty for the murders of 28 year old Atania Butler,  her 11 year old daughter Jhane,  and two other adults,  who were at her house when the shootings took place,  in August of 2009.     Ringold entered the plea on Tuesday,  just moments before 7-year old Nhaje Alexander was scheduled to testify.   She was the lone survivor,   and was preparing to relive the horror of that night,  when she too,  was shot during the rampage.   Alexander,  who was 4 years old at the time,  was found with gunshot wounds in the home on Claridge Lane,   and told paramedics that Rick had killed her family.
