Police are investigating a possible hate crime of a woman who was set on fire for ”allegedly supporting” President Obama. 20-year-old Sharmeka Moffitt is currently in critical condition at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She is suffering from 3 degree burns down her arms, her chest and legs. The attack happened around 8 P.M. at a park in Winnsboro, LA. Authorities say when they arrived to the scene, the found “KKK” was spray-painted on the hood of her car, with a racial slur underneath. A motive is unknown, however rumors are going around that the woman was being attacked for being a President Barack Obama supporter. Officials say have yet to declare it a hate crime just yet, but according to Rob Redding, its clear that racism is not dead.
