Early Voting Starts Monday

ATLANTA (WAOK)-Advance voting for the November 6 General Election gets underway on Monday, October 15 and continues through Friday, November 2, 2012. 

 In Fulton County voters can cast their ballots at one of the six locations: Adamsville Recreational Center (3201 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA 30311), Buckhead Library (269 Buckhead Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30305), Fulton County Government Center (130 Peachtree Street, SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303), North Fulton Service Center (7741 Roswell Road, Suite 232, Sandy Springs 30350), Ocee Library (5090 Abbotts Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30005) and the South Fulton Service Center (5600 Stonewall Tell Road, Room 108, College Park, GA 30349), Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Saturday Voting will be offered at all six locations on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 In DeKalb County registered voters can cast their ballots from  7:00 AM – 7:00 PM including two Saturdays, October 20 & 27 at the Voter Registration & Elections Office 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300, Decatur, GA 30032,  at South DeKalb – Community Achievement Center, Inc. 4522 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur, GA 30034 and at the Tucker Recreation Center 4898 LaVista Road, Tucker, GA 30084

In Clayton County voters can cast their ballots from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday) at the Elections and Registration Office 121 S. McDonough Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236

In Cobb County voters can cast their ballots from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday) at the Main Office ONLY: 736 Whitlock Ave., Marietta, GA 30064

In Gwinnett County voters can cast their ballots from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday) at the Gwinnett County Elections Office 455 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046

Voters can request an absentee ballot by mail by filling out an absentee ballot application and e-mailing it to  their county elections office .  The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the November 6, 2012 General Election is Friday, November 2, 2012.  Completed absentee ballots must be received by the county Department of Registration and Elections no later than 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
