Three Alleged Gang Members Convicted In Crime Spree

ATLANTA – (WAOK/AJC) – A Fulton county jury has convicted three young men in a two year old violent crime spree, that included carjacking, armed robbery, rape and murder. Tamario Wise, Robert Veal, and Fernandez Whatley are all said to be members of the street gang, known as ‘The Jack Boys.’ investigators say the men went on a month long rampage in November of 20-10, terrorizing, several east Atlanta neighborhoods, with their crimes, that involved the robbery and murder of Charles Boyer, and the rape of a woman several days later in a Grant Park neighborhood. The suspects were charged in a 90-count indictment and the penalty could lead to multiple life sentences.
