ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) - A man charged in a fatal shooting at a drive-in movie theater in Atlanta  has pleaded not guilty.

Police say Quentric Shaymond Williams entered his plea Monday. He faces charges of murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, fleeing to elude police and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Williams is being held without bond.

Prosecutors say Williams shot Mitt Lenix on May 15 at the Starlight Drive-in Theater.

Authorities say Lenix was apparently having car trouble at the drive-in when he approached Williams for help. Police said Williams shot Lenix and fled. Officers chased Williams’ vehicle until it crashed. Officers arrested Williams the next day.

One of the police officers rushing to help in the chase struck and fatally wounded a pedestrian.
