Douglas Co. Ga (WAOK)-Desperate times call for desperate measures. Douglas County police say a Wendy’s employee is now facing armed robbery charges for robbing the restaurant where he works.
A co-worker recognized Andrew Spriggs, when he removed his mask while walking back to his car which he had parked in his regular parking space.
Police recovered six-thousand dollars. Spriggs is being held at the Douglas County Jail.
He told police he was behind in his rent, his wife was sick and he was about to be evicted.
