ATLANTA (AP) — A hearing has been postponed for a man charged with stalking R&B singer Keyshia Cole.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the hearing for Torey Webster was postponed Thursday.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s office says Webster was indicted on a charge of aggravated stalking and other offenses after repeated arrests in connection with Cole, since 2009.
Webster had been expected to enter a guilty plea in Fulton County Superior Court. But Judge Stephanie Manis postponed the hearing because Cole was not available to offer a statement and prosecutors along with defense attorneys could not agree on a sentence.
A new hearing date has not been set.
Webster’s recent arrest followed two incidents at the Cole’s north Fulton County home in July and August in 2011.
