A blacks civil rights activist today said he is planning a “sit-in” at a Georgia bar displaying a sign he says is offensive to him and President Barack Obama. Gerald Rose, founder of the New Order National Human Rights Organization, told Redding News Review radio show that he will hold a sit-in at Mulligan’s Food and Spirits after meeting with its management, which posted a sign that read, “I heard the White House smelled like collard greens and fried chicken.”
