Senator Lornna Soto referred to Puerto Rican Resident Commissioner Candidate Rafael Cox Alomar as “el monito” (“the monkey”) at a DNC luncheon. This also comes after a CNN employee, who happened to be african american, was also called an animal at the RNC.
