We had the opportunity to have a heartfelt conversation with 11-year old Valaria Fenderson. Valarie is currently diagnosed with Sickle Cell. She is currently looking for Bone Marrow Donors and here is your opportunity. On Friday, September 7th, 11Alive along with V-103 and students from several local colleges – Spelman, Clark Atlanta and Morehouse — are sponsoring a bone marrow drive to help 11-year-old Valaria Fenderson find a match.

The bone marrow drive will take place September 7, from 10 am to 7:30 pm at the Spelman College Student Center. V103, News and Talk 1380 Waok and 11 Alive will be there in full effect. Click the audio links to hear the conversation….
