Former NFL Star Arrested In Clayton County

CLAYTON COUNTY – (WAOK/AJC) – Clayton county authorities say 32 Jamal Lewis was arrested Tuesday night,  for failing to pay chld support.     Jail records show Lewis spent a few hours behind bars,  and was released early Wednesday.   The charges come less than four months after Lewis filed for bankruptcy.  The former football standout,  at Douglass High School,  who then spent his college career at the University of Tennessee,   played nine seasons in the NFL,   with both the Cleveland Browns,  and Baltimore Ravens,  before he retired in 2009.
