CUMMING, Ga. (AJC/ WAOK) – A Forsyth County boy is dead after being pulled from an apartment complex pool,  by his father.    According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, 7-year-old Stephon Alston of Cumming was swimming in the Centennial Apartments pool in the Windermere neighborhood Sunday afternoon when his father stepped away and went to a restroom.   The boy’s father, whose name has not yet been released, saw his son’s swim suit at the bottom of the pool when he returned and realized that his son had disappeared,  said Karleen Chalker, the spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.   Other people at the pool began performing CPR on the child until authorities arrived. Paramedics transported the boy to Northside Hospital where he was pronounced dead.   The boy’s drowning was one of two Sunday in metro Atlanta.   A 55-year-old man died while using a paddle board on Lake Acworth.
