Paul Janish hit a run-scoring bloop single in the 11th inning to complete the Atlanta Braves’ wild 11-10 comeback win against the Washington Nationals on Friday night.
The Nationals led 9-0 after five innings but Atlanta scored four runs in both the sixth and eighth innings and took a 10-9 lead in the top of the ninth on Michael Bourn’s two-run triple.
Craig Kimbrel blew his second save in 30 chances in the bottom of the ninth when Danny Espinosa hit a solo homer into the visitors’ bullpen in left-center field to tie the game at 10.
