ATLANTA – (WAOK/AJC) – Another Atlanta Public Schools teacher is getting her job back, after an APS tribunal cleared her of cheating on the CRCT tests. Teresa Bell, like dozens of other teachers had been on administrative leave all year, after she was named in the scandal, that has rocked the district since last summer. Bell who was a former teacher at F-L Stanton Elementary School, was named in the state investigation, that accused Bell of lying to investigators, who were looking into how many teachers were involved in cheating during the 2009 CRCT tests. After the hearing, which actually started last month, it was decided that there wasn’t conclusive evidence to prove Bell was involved. The Atlanta School board will vote on whether to re-instate Bell to her job.
