Burned Car Belongs To Missing Covington Man

ATLANTA – (WAOK/AJC) – Atlanta investigators say a car found burning with a body in the trunk belongs to a missing Covington man.   Police say the  car,  an Infiniti M-35 was discovered on fire,   outside an abandoned house in southwest Atlanta,  over the weekend.    After a closer inspection investigators found a body burned beyond recognition in the trunk.   Police have been able to trace the car to 49-year old Gregory Harris,  whose family reported him missing on Friday.   The car and the body have been turned over to the Fulton county medical examiner’s office for further examination.    But the remains have not yet been identified as those of  Harris.
