The Annual NAACP is happening in Houston, TX this week and one of the things that they vows to work on is registering 1 million new voters for the November elections. The organization feels that African American’s voting rights are in jeopardy again with the new voter law, and want to make sure that everyone gets a fair opportunity to exercises their right to vote. Board Chair Roslyn Brock opened the organization’s 103rd annual convention on Sunday and said, “Our right to vote is under attack more than at any other time in history since we passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
