Michele Bachmann Makes Racially Tinged Comment About Obama’s Health Care Plan
Today, Rep. Michele Bachmann said President Obama’s health care law was a “black cloud” shortly after the Supreme Court approved the bill. The Minnesota Republican told CNN that Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts’ rational for ruling for the individual insurance requirement of the law as a tax was “bizarre.” She called it a “black cloud on economic recovery,” of the first black president. This not the first time that Bachmann has made racially charged comments. Bachmann fought off allegations that she was a racist as she ran for the White House.
She was derided for signing an anti-Christian conservative pledge saying that “African-American children were more likely to grow up in stable families during the era of slavery than under President Barack Obama.” She has also accused Obama of “waving a tar baby in the air” during a remarks on this nation’s energy policy. “This is just about waving a tar baby in the air and saying that something else is a problem. I have never seen a more irresponsible president who is infantile in the way that he continually blames everybody else for his failure to first diagnose the problem, and second, to address the problem. It’s always everyone else’s fault.” To hear more on the issues, visit www.robreddingnewsreview.com
