Supreme Court Is Against Arizona Immigration Law
Today the Supreme Court has voted in a 5-3 ruling to uphold the authority of the federal government to set immigration policy and laws. in other words, they will continue to block keep federal government to create their own immigration laws. However, the real issue that has everyone in an uproar is that the court let stand one of the most controversial law which lets police check a person’s immigration status if “reasonable suspicion” exists that the person is in the United States illegally. Critics say that this law will open the door to racial profiling.
