The World Boxing Organization says five judges on a review panel all had Manny Pacquiao winning his fight against Timothy Bradley earlier this month. Bradley was given a victory via controversial split decision over Pacquiao on June 9th in Las Vegas, but afterward there was an inquiry called by Bob Arum, the promoter for both fighters, into the scores.
The five judges on the WBO panel had the fight scored 117-111, 117-111, 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113. The WBO does not have the power to reverse the decision of the fight.
However, the WBO could order a rematch if the decision is found to be flawed, but that could turn out to be unnecessary as Pacquiao’s fight contract included a rematch clause.
