2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport
What did this Lexus do over the Summer?
Went to Boot Camp!
Yes…cars are better than ever these days….and here’s proof!
Soul-moving performance…yet it’s capable of giving you highway mileage in the high20’s!
This new “angry-nosed” Lexus is built to compete with BMW’s 5 Series, and comes with a 306 HP six-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic that can get you from zero to 60 in less than 6 seconds. Strong stuff.
The GS starts at $53,465, while the F Sport package adds $5,690 and gives you perforated leather with memory, a moonroof, and ups the rims from 17 to 19 inches. Our test car listed at $58,369.
You’ll also get a programmable sport suspension, rain-sensing wipers, lane-departure warning systems, both front and rear pre-collision radar, and a big 12+ inch display with voice command and more!
If you own a smart phone, you’ll feel right at home in this car. It’s a teckie’s dream.
With the variable suspension, you can go from Eco to Sport to Sport +…with each setting giving you progressively firmer suspension settings along with more
aggressive transmission shift points and tighter steering. Forget Eco….buy a Camry instead if that’s what you’re after. Sport seemed fine for all-around driving…as Sport + almost make the steering a little too sensitive forAtlanta’s expressways. If the price of admission doesn’t stand in your way, you’re probably going to enjoy this car…a lot!
