MARIETTA – (WAOK/AJC) –  Marietta police say a motorcyclist was critically injured Tuesday morning,   when he was hit by a car.   They say the man was on his bike,   and headed south on Powers Ferry Road,  when a woman,  traveling  northbound,  in a Honda Accord,   attempted to turn left,  and ran over the cyclist.   The unidentified driver,  pulled into a nearby parking lot,  and waited for police.    The cyclist was taken by ambulance to a hospital,  while police decide what charges the woman will face.
