ATLANTA (AJC/WAOK) - DeKalb County police and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents raided a suspected “pill mill” Thursday morning.
The alleged operation took place at Southern Health Management on Northlake Parkway.
According to information from the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, the business is owned by Jeffrey Gonzalez.
Gonzalez denies the clinic’s involvement in illegal activities.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, a half-dozen people were detained, including Gonzalez. Gonzalez remains in custody at the DeKalb County Jail. Bond has not been set.
