Atlanta (WAOK)- Cobb County Police arrested two people in connection with a murder that took place Friday night.

Joseph Owens, 20-year-old Art Institute of Atlanta student, collapsed after being shot to death outside of West Chase Apartments while running to a nearby gas station.

Surveillance video outside of the gas station captured the two suspects, who were arrested on Tuesday afternoon.

Brandon Hindsman and Rayshawn Rouse have been charged with aggravated assault and felony murder.

“These two individuals were directly responsible for the shooting death of 20-year-old Joseph Owens,” says Sgt. Dana Pierce.
