NEWNAN, Ga. (AP) — Federal officials are asking the public to help them find whoever stole guns from a retail store in Newnan.
The Atlanta division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Tuesday announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the theft of guns from a licensed firearms dealer. The theft occurred early in the morning of May 30 at Oz Cutlery.
The ATF says 11 handguns were stolen from a shattered glass display case. The ATF says the suspect or suspects broke the glass on the front door and squeezed through the burglar bars.
