George Zimmerman’s Wife Gets Arrested For Perjury

Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of George Zimmerman who is accused for fatally shooting Travon Martin, was arrested on Tuesday for perjury. According to officials, she is accused of lying to a judge about the couple’s finances during her husband’s bond hearing. Among the questions she was repeatedly asked during the hearing was how much the couple collected in donations through her husband’s website. She replied, “currently I don’t know.” She also described their financial situation as dire. Deputies arrested Zimmerman around 3:30 p.m. and booked her on one count of perjury at the John E.
