Lawyer Shot 8 Times Speaks First Word Since Attack
ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) – A lawyer who was shot eight times outside her Sandy Springs apartment has spoken her first word since the gunfire.
A friend of Adina Parson say she said “hello” to her mother on Tuesday.
Parson, an attorney for the state Department of Public Health, is being treated at the Shepherd Center.
Authorities say three of the shots struck her in the head on April 20.
Her husband Michael Parson was extradited from Texas and booked into Fulton County Jail on May 19. Jail records show that he faces charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
The records do not indicate whether Michael Parson has an attorney in the case.
