Fairburn, GA (CBS Atlanta) – A woman is in custody after police say she intentionally ran over her boyfriend, killing him.

Sharees Dennard, 30, has been charged with vehicular homicide.

According to Fairburn authorities, Dennard and her boyfriend got into an argument at a nearby house. A police report states “the female then got into her car to leave the residence and the male victim then jumped onto (her) vehicle.”

Dennard kept driving on Campbelton-Fairburn Road where police believe the man was either thrown or jumped from the vehicle.

Police believe that additional vehicles may have also run over the man after Dennard initially struck him.

Dennard was found and arrested a mile from where the dead body was recovered.
