Reporting Rob Redding

It’s been two and a half months since the Trayvon Martin shooting, and as the investigation continues, it is becoming more clear that the Sanford Police Department has been mishandling the case. Their has been evidence of sloppy work and carelessness of the case. It is also said that if the department would have followed certain procedures during the first few days of the investigation, it may have helped solved the case.  For example, on the night of the shooting, a door-to-door canvassing was not executed to see if Trayvon Martin was a resident or a guest-as opposed of an intruder. Officials are also arguing if George Zimmerman really had injuries from the scuffle before he shot Martin. There are also some other factors that have taken place that raises a few eye brows about the small town police department. To hear more, visit www.robreddingnewsreview.com.
