ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) - Police in two metro Atlanta counties are searching for a suspect after a man was gunned down at a drive-in movie theater.

DeKalb County police say the man was shot and killed at the Starlight Drive-In Theatre off Moreland Avenue early Tuesday morning.

Officers investigating the shooting say they spotted the suspect’s vehicle on a nearby interstate and pursued it into Gwinnett County. Authorities say the suspect eventually crashed near the intersection of Lilburn Stone Mountain Road and Old Tucker Road and fled the scene on foot.

DeKalb County police were questioning a passenger in the suspect’s car.
