3 People Wounded By Gunfire On City’s Southwest side
ATLANTA (AP/WAOK) - Police say three people have been wounded in a shoot-out on Atlanta’s southwest side.
Authorities say the gunfire rang out late Tuesday morning in the parking lot of a Bank of America branch on Lee Street.
Atlanta police Officer Kim Jones says that one person was shot in the chest and another was shot four times.
Atlanta police Lt. Bryan Paden says the three male victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, all in stable condition.
Investigators were still trying to sort out what happened, but said there was “possibly a carjacking involved.”
