Attempted Abductions In Forest Park

FOREST PARK – (WAOK/AJC)  – Forest Park police are warning residents about two attempted abductions that have occurred in the city.    Investigators say two girls,  ages seven and twelve told them,   two men in a white SUV,  tried to get them in their car,  on Wednesday as they were walking to school near Halifax and Glade Roads,  but the girls refused and kept walking.      Then police say about an hour later,  four men in a car described as possibly a Crown Victoria,   tried to convince a ten year old girl  to get in the car,  on West Road,    but she dropped her book bag and ran away.    Police say in neither case,    did the suspects try to follow the girls.    You’re urged to call Forest Park Police at 404 366-4141 with information.
