Pacers Get Even With Magic

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  David West scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Pacers downed the Magic, 93-78, in Game Two of the their East quarterfinal series.  Danny Granger and George Hill also netted 18 points each to help Indiana evened the best-of-seven set at a game apiece.  Paul George had 17 points and eight boards in the victory.  Glen Davis finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando, which was outscored 51-34 in the second half.  J.J. Redick had 13 points off the bench in the loss.

OKC Takes 2-0 Lead On Dallas

(Oklahoma City, OK)  —  Russell Westbrook led the way with 29 points as the Thunder held off the Mavericks, 102-99, in Game Two of their West quarterfinal series.  Kevin Durant finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds to help OKC take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.  James Harden had 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists off the bench in the win.  Dirk Nowitzki [[ no-VIT-skee ]] dropped in 31 points for the Mavericks, who will host Game Three on Thursday.  Shawn Marion had 15 points and eight boards in the loss.

Heat Take 2-0 Lead On Knicks

(Miami, FL)  —  Dwyane Wade led a balanced attack with 25 points as the Heat knocked off the Knicks, 104-94, in Game Two of their East quarterfinal series.  Chris Bosh netted 21 points to help Miami grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.  LeBron James finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in the win.  Carmelo Anthony collected 20 points and nine boards for New York, which matched an NBA record with its 12th straight playoff loss.  Amar’e Stoudemire had 18 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
