The Neighborhood SHOcase will be this Saturday April28th at 10:00 A.M.– 6:00 P.M but you don’t want to come unprepared. Here is more information on how consumers can get involved in the SHOcase.
Interested families can go to www.HomeByRequest.com to view the nearly 80 homes and to review the 5 simple SHOcase steps. To help those attracted to the homes APDS and ANDP, in conjunction with local nonprofits will host a series of over 25 home-buyer preparation seminars to adequately prepare potential buyers on what to expect at the expo and to ensure homeownership readiness. Beginning March 15th, interested families can go to the website to register for the free 1-hour seminars being held at locations throughout the community.
1. Call or Click to Register
Consumers will be encouraged to pre-register so that a customized event package will be prepared for them. This can be done via telephone (877-484-6669) or website. Real Estate Professionals will be required to pre-register before they can attend the event in a professional capacity.
2. Attend a Buyer Preparation Seminar
The buyer preparation seminar is designed to help consumers understand the SHOcase experience and making sure they’re ready to participate. These seminars provide a basic overview of the home buying process blended with information to help prepare families to buy the day of the event. The class covers lending qualification, down payment/closing cost assistance, facilitating repair/rehab needs and finding qualified real estate professionals (available in person or via webinar).
3. Lender Pre-approval
Buyers are also encouraged to go through the loan process in advance to be pre-approved. Designed to increase the buyer pool SHOcase lenders will be available in advance and onsite the day of the event. Our lender partners have flexible products with credit scores as low as 580 and are familiar with local buyer assistance programs that will help you maximize your buying capability.
4. Select the Home of Your Dreams:
We offer several opportunities to select, view, and inspect available homes. All homes for sale are included in the printed or downloadable SHOwcase brochure. There are open houses two weekends before the April 28th event. All properties will be open for viewing on Saturday and Sunday. Private viewings are also available.
5. Come to the Neighborhood SHOcase
Homeowners who are ready to go or in the process will attend the event and accelerate their path to homeownership. The available homes will be marketed, pre-qualification will be done onsite, and contracts will be accepted that day. In addition to the nearly 80 South Fulton homes available for sale, the SHOcase will assemble the following vendors as a part of the buyer awareness home show:
